The Conversation, or Rationalizing Her Absence

"Do you know what a blog is?"

"Why, yes, I do."

"Have you ever...uh...blogged?"

"Why, yes, I have."

"The director thinks every team should have a blog." [meaningful pause in which I fail to take the cue...manager sighs and becomes explicit] "So what do you think about doing a blog for our team?"

[blog as part of my job...hmmm...]
